Kora's Big Day

OK for those who don't know me very well..let me fill u in..my brother,Alan & his wife,Marilyn live in SC.Marilyn's son,Jason died last October from complications from his Dechenne's Muscular Distrophy.He had a handicapped van.My brother became his care taker when Jason's dad,Doug died in 2009...but in Dougs last few years Alan took care of them both.Doug had alot of health problems.When Jason died last year Alan & Marilyn had this handicapped van they didn't ever use so my hubby,Eddie has a grand daughter,Kora that was born with Cerebal Palsy..she has never walked & is in a wheelchair.She was pretty much confined to her house outside of going to school,Dr.appts. & church with her grandma.So Alan & Marilyn gave Kora the van.

 We had a big weekend..on Saturday May 12,2012 Kora became mobile.Her mom,Holly & dad,Michael were so happy & so was Kora.Holly cried.For the big day Kora & her parents came plus her 2 younger sisters,Mylee & Raelee,her grandma,Diane & her aunt,Julie,her aunt,Jessica,uncle Francisco & cousin,Adrien.We had hotdogs & chips.The looks on everyone's faces was priceless..Check out the pics of Kora's big day..:)
