Gooodbyes & New Beginnings

Life has been extremely busy since the last time I blogged. The last of March I had outpatient surgery..had a cervical lymph node removed which thank God turned out to be a benign tumor! Last year my dad got really sick & went in the hospital with a very low hemoglobin as it turns out he had pre Leukemia which he started taking treatments. He was responding very well to the treatment until it just gradually got worse.I started searching for my daughter that I had placed 4 Adoption 15 yrs ago because I knew that if I waited until she was 18 my daddy would never get to meet her.As u know these days everyone has a Facebook I googled her parents names I didnmt have a last name but with the info that I had been given over the years I used that,my skills with the computer & Google & Facebook.I found her dad on FB & started there & found her on his FB.To make a long story short a friend of mine contacted her bff & gave her my FB URL & my daughter,Caitlin got in touch with me. We spoke for the 1st time on March 16 three days b4 her 15th birthday.My dad went into the hospital on April 10 & was diagnosed with full blown leukemia.His Dr treated it aggressively with chemo & radiation for 14 days straight.My daddy was so sick & pale. I'm getting ahead of myself I met my daughter for the first time on April 5th along with her parents.On April 12th my mom turned 70 & on April 13th Caitlin met my parents & the rest of the family.Everytime Caitlin visited us she went with us to see her poppa.

Caitlin spent Mothers Day weekend with us.She drew & painted a beautiful picture for me.My daddy died on May 23rd.Caitlin was at the viewing & the funeral.She made it just in time to meet her popa before he went Home!
